The A100-CTS car top flood sensor is designed to detect water entering the hoistway from above the elevator car before it reaches the pit. This provides early detection and helps protect door operators, car top inspection stations, COPs, and other car equipment from water damage caused by broken pipes, sprinkler activation, fire suppression systems, roof leaks, parking garage flooding, or other sources of water intrusion in the hoistway.
